It was an October full of hustle and bustle, as we continued our Wealth App’s development and increased our community building and marketing efforts. The Bitcoin price moved to the rhythm of the news more than usual. Mark Zuckerberg promised the US government that he will bow to regulation while an unlikely advocate was found in Chinese president, Xi Jinping, who seemed to embrace blockchain and bitcoin perhaps because of mounting pressure from the trade war with the US or maybe for the reason of encouraging innovation as he declared. Some remain cautious pointing to a slight retraction from China and the regulatory obstacles to adoption. Others like Fundstrat’s, Tom Lee, believe that the “risk-off is over and the Bitcoin Bull Market is on,” citing the massive gain for BTC on Friday and the bottoming of the Bitcoin Misery Index on Oct. 24th. Read our Head of Data, Bastien Muster’s, Monthly Bitcoin Analysis to find out how the passage of the moving average of 20 days above that of 200 days, two indicators watched closely by traders, could spell a bullish run.
Our Community App has now more than 40k players and is rapidly growing. We reached several important milestones last month including a new record of more than 6,000 forecasts made in 24 hours and more than 10,000 active players on the same day. The competition is tighter than ever before after what our head of data calls the ‘autumn blood bath’. Read the report.
