The Bitcoin price saw a three percent loss since the beginning of the week, but the bulls are maintaining their position.
Current support/resistance: $9'000/$9'500
While most of the Bitcoin metrics are climbing, the total cryptocurrencies market capitalization share is going down. It means that other cryptocurrencies are outperforming Bitcoin. Since the beginning of the year, the Bitcoin share lost 3%, representing a value close to 8 billion of dollars. It is not necessarily a bad sign for Bitcoin as it pushes the interests towards cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, a more uncorrelated market would only make it more attractive.
The MACD has just crossed the signal lines triggering a sell, it is currently the only bearish indicator among the popular ones. The overall trend remains bullish.
